As you all might know if you followed our twitter account, our previous host decided to close its doors for business thus leaving us to find a new host and transfer the site within the previous few weeks. I decided to go with Flaunt, which is now our new host and thankfully our fansite is back online after 2 weeks! If there is anything that isn’t working, please feel free to let me know so I can fix it ASAP.
On a more positive note, it was Noah’s birthday yesterday (August 20th)! I hope everyone tweeted him a happy birthday, and if you haven’t then what are you waiting for? Go Go Go!
Warning: This story contains major spoilers from the season finale of 12 Monkeys. If you haven’t watched the episode, splinter to the past, watch and then read this spoiler-filled postmortem.
In its freshman season finale, 12 Monkeys definitively proved that there is hope of changing the past for the better—though it came at a steep price.
After torturing Aaron (Noah Bean) for info on Olivia’s (Alisen Down) plans, Cassie (Amanda Schull) and Cole (Aaron Stanford) leave him to die in an accidental fire that breaks out after he tries to escape. It’s a seriously cold-blooded move for Cassie not to save him, though Cole points out that Aaron made his choice in siding with the Army of the 12 Monkeys. (Remember this moment, it’ll come back later.)

Syfy’s 12 Monkeys adaptation has been renewed for a second season, EW has learned.
Inspired by the 1995 film, the series stars Aaron Stanford as Cole, a time traveler from a decimated future, who journeys back to present day in a bid to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will pretty much annihilate the human race.
The drama, which also stars Amanda Schull as a present-day virologist helping Cole, debuted in January to 1.35 million viewers and a 0.4 in the 18-49 demographic. Though its ratings have dropped in subsequent weeks, the series consistently sees a lift in L3 viewership.
“We are absolutely committed to 12 Monkeys, and have been incredibly impressed by the outstanding critical and audience praise the series has earned,” said Syfy President Dave Howe. “The talent both on and off-screen have delivered a series that has us all on the edge of our seats, providing exactly the smart, exciting storytelling Syfy is known for.”
The second season, which is expected to air in 2016, will see showrunner Natalie Chaidez step down in order to prep her own Syfy series, Hunters, so co-executive producers and writers Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett will step up to serve as executive producers and showrunners.
12 Monkeys airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on Syfy.
